need help with your story...Frenchie's got you covered
Whitney French Writes offers prompt and professional Story Doctoring sessions for individuals working on stories, novels, web-series, scripts and articles. This service is ideal for people who are stuck in a story, wrestling with setting up their plot or character development, or who need analysis and support on a pre-existing manuscript.
How does it work?
Book a session with Whitney French by registering below. Here, you will send a synopsis and if you have it, an example of your work along with your goals and areas of support. Each session is roughly one to two hours (either online or in person). During this session you will receive analysis around the structure and future movement on your work in a conversational detailed manner. Following the session, you will receive detailed written feedback as well as follow up homework. There is always the option to book another appointment (recommended for longer projects such as novels, feature films or web-series).
Story doctoring isn't:
a ghostwriting service
a copy editing service
a writing workshop (no exercises, just consultation)
a "feel good" from a professional. It is an honest critique for your growth

"I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have Whitney in my life! I consider her not just a friend, but a mentor— someone who will walk truthfully and honestly with me on my creative journey. She speaks words of wisdom during our meetings, leaving me so inspired to write! Despite how many times I’ve lost focus on my characters’ goals, who they truly are, or in the story, Whitney always brings it home for me. And, speaking as a woman of colour, she has played a huge part in my own empowerment which shines through in my creative process. She’s helped me find a powerhouse voice, and that I can’t thank her enough for."
-- Tamara Freeman -- actor and screenwriter
